Within the Department of Chemical Engineering and Technologies, you will have to:
- Actively contribute to the development of innovative processes and technologies in fields as diverse as biomass processing, biotechnology, plastics recycling, energy, refining and petrochemistry;
- Select and implement the most suitable technology for the reactions and unit operations studied;
- Describe, model, simulate with CFD tools and experiment in cold flow models with the hydrodynamics and transfers (matter, heat) of multiphase systems;
- Establishing the rules for scale up and design from laboratory or pilot scale to industrial scale;
- Propose and develop specific technology innovations.
Punctually in France or abroad for periods of 1 to a few days
- Chemical engineering: know transfer phenomena (matter, momentum, heat), multiphase flows and reaction aspects (kinetics) which are implemented in reactors and/or unitary material transformation operations Be able to define the experimental/modelling/CFD simulation strategy necessary to provide the scale up and industrial scale sizing
- Technologies: being able to link with mechanical design (strength, materials, assembly, layout, integration, compatibility, discussion with suppliers)
- Knowledge in separation technologies (liquid liquid extraction, distillation, ...) is a plus
- Proficiency in a Fluent-type CFD tool preferred

Technological innovator with a Diploma in Chemical Engineering
3-5 years professional experience or a PHD in the field of chemical engineering preferred
